The Snoqualmie Valley is celebrating its many local businesses May 4-10 as part of National Small Business Week.
Hosted by the SnoValley Chamber of Commerce, the Valley’s small business week will include daily themes to encourage residents to shop small.
Chamber CEO Kelly Coughlin said that this year, it is extra important to support local businesses whenever possible.
“We will be celebrating the heart and soul of our community — our amazing small businesses,” the chamber posted on its Facebook page. “From unique shops to local services, these businesses power our economy and enrich our everyday lives.”
Coughlin said the chamber is also working on a new task force that will facilitate conversations with local business owners about the issues they face as small businesses. More information to come.
