The last two summers have been long, hot, and dry. That means a lot of watering which can be both time consuming and expensive. With climate change, more of the same is to be expected in future years.
At this talk, learn techniques to reduce water use and costs while maintaining a healthy garden.
Elaine Keehn is a Master Gardener who has had an interest in waterwise gardening for many years. Her initial interest came about when she had to learn how to minimize water use while maximizing its benefits for her garden and nursery on the Sammamish Plateau. Her research at that time led to the main points in this talk.
Upcoming master gardener presentations are set for May 13 and June 10.
