Theatre Black Dog presents ‘Our Town’ April 14 to 30 at Sallal Grange

The Black Dog Arts Coalition in association with Sallal Grange presents Theatre Black Dog’s Production of Thornton Wilder’s Pulitzer Price Winning Classic, “Our Town,” April 14 to 30 at the Sallal Grange Hall, North Bend.
The play features actors from Seattle, the Eastside, Des Moines, Maple Valley, North Bend and Snoqualmie. Directed by Susan Bradford, the play is sponsored by The Black Dog Arts Coaltion.
This is the first time in years the company has performed in a venue away from its home base, The Black Dog Arts Café, Snoqualmie.
“Our Town” is performed in three acts: “Daily Life,” “Love and Marriage,” and “Death and Eternity.” It focuses on two families, the Gibbs and Webbs, whose teenage children, George and Emily, fall in love. The play follows them through the awkwardness of courtship to a loving marriage and finally the eventuality of loss in the last act.
The show will be performed at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights, and 2 p.m. Sundays, at Sallal Grange, 12912 432nd Ave. S.E., North Bend. Tickets are available at www.brownpapertickets.com or at the door.
