Local author signs books Saturday

D.L. Waterhouse, a Carnation resident, will sign copies of his book, “The Fruit of Atrocity,” 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14 at the Carnation Cafe.

The book, set in China during WWII, is the story of one pilot’s struggle for survival as he provides rescue and refuge to 16 mixed-race war orphans.
