Lee Oskar & Friends play at final SummerStage concert tonight

Legendary harp player Lee Oskar performs at a free concert, 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight in Duvall’s McCormick Park.
Oskar was an early creator of the Latin and soul fusion sound. As an original band member, for over 20 years he wrote, recorded, and performed with the band that brought us “Low Rider,” “Slipping Into Darkness,” and “The Cisco Kid;”he continues to perform with the Lowrider Band.
Oskar’s innovative style playing harmonica as a lead instrument is instantly recognizable. His original music has been used in dozens of films and television shows and his band Lee Oskar & Friends have played regularly at Highway 99 Blues Club and at charitable events. Showtime is 7 p.m. but the beer and wine garden opens at 5:30 p.m. and two food trucks are scheduled to be at the park.
