Carnation Farm kicks off new community vision with Saturday ribbon cutting, solstice party

On Saturday, June 17, Carnation Farms will open its gates and invite the public to kick off its new mission in a family-friendly celebration. A ribbon cutting featuring the founding Board of Directors, 1st District Congresswoman Suzan DelBene, and other local officials will kick off the celebration at 11 a.m. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Carnation Farms shares its 818-acre organic farm to promote environmentally sustainable practices that connect people and communities to the land through experiential education, inspiring healthy and balanced lifestyles. The Summer Solstice celebration will include an opportunity to explore the new mission and property with mini workshops, trail hikes, culinary demonstrations, zipline and high ropes course, leisure lawn games, face painting, lawn picnics, historic tours, and a special Makers Mercantile.
