Leadership Eastside is hosting a free morning forum on the connection between the economy and basic needs on the eastside, 7:30 to 9 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 13, at the AAA Washington Corporate Office, 3605 132nd Ave. S.E., Bellevue.

Change is happening fast; community leaders simply can’t afford to address issues in isolation. Efforts to improve one aspect of the region need to be viewed in context of others. With this morning forum, Leadership Eastside continues bringing people together using an Intersection Exchange dialogue approach to discuss and develop practical steps to drive positive change in the community.

Leadership Eastside informs, equips, and connects the community’s greatest assets, its leaders, to meet the community’s greatest needs. State of the Eastside Forums represent an opportunity to bring together community leaders, stakeholders, and other interests to discuss a specific issue of community importance.
