Francis Bennett Gaub of Snoqualmie, Washington passed away September 29, 2016 at the age of 84 in Baker City, Oregon, surrounded by her son Kevin and family.

Fran was born on August 16, 1932 in Cle Elum Washington. She was raised in the Greenwood area of Seattle and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1950. She was married to Darrell Bennett from 1951 to 1985. She re-married in 1992 to Wayne Gaub of Snoqualmie, Washington. She was married to Wayne until he passed away in 2014.

Fran was the elementary school secretary at Fall City Elementary for 28 years and drove school bus for 4 years. Fran was a member of the Fall City Methodist Church, singing in the choir at both weddings and funerals. She loved to dance and attended many live music concerts. She loved to decorate and had the largest Christmas tree and the best Christmas party at their residence in Cle Elum for some 19 years. In her early days she loved to snowmobile and enjoyed the outdoors. Residing in Cle Elum for many years, she and Wayne moved back to Snoqualmie in 2013.

Fran is survived by 3 sons. Kevin, Kris and Kelly and her sister Sue. Also survived by her step son and daughter, Gordon and Janice. 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, with one on the way. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Hope.

Fran truly loved her annual vacations to Cabo San Lucas with Wayne and her friends. She will be missed dearly by many. Fran requested no services.
