Dec. 19

Carnation ugly sweater party, 6-9 p.m.: Big Block Brewing is hosting an ugly sweater party, with prizes for best (and worst) holiday sweater. There will also be holiday music, door prizes and festive beer releases.

Triplum at Camlann Medieval Village, 7-9 p.m.: Triplum is a Portland-based instrumental ensemble performing a variety of music, from medieval to ragtime. They use a variety of instruments, such as the hurdy-gurdy, medieval fiddles, bass clarinet and harpsichord. Their winter performance at the Bors Hede in Camlann Medieval Village features music composed and performed first in the 14th Century. Dec. 20

Ugly sweater karaoke contest, 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.: Pour House Pete’s in Carnation is hosting an ugly sweater and karaoke contest. Wear your ugliest Christmas sweater and sing your favorite song. Enter in Heather Darling’s annual contest to have a great night and win fun prizes. All ages from 7-9 p.m.; only ages 21 and up after 9 p.m.

Dec. 20-24

North Bend Theatre holiday movies: North Bend Theatre will be showing holiday classics several days next week. Showings include “The Polar Express” Dec. 20; “Christmas in Connecticut” Dec. 21; “A Christmas Story” Dec. 22; “White Christmas” Dec. 23; and “It’s a Wonderful Life” Dec. 24. All showings are at 11 a.m. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time at northbendtheatre.com.

Through Dec. 20

Venturing Crew tree lot: The nonprofit Snoqualmie Valley Venturing Crew is selling Christmas trees to raise money at the corner of State Route 202 and Snoqualmie Parkway. This is the Crew’s one and only fundraiser each year, and proceeds directly support local youth in leadership development, outdoor adventure and service projects. Trees include Douglas Fir, Fraser Fir, Grand Fir, Nordmann and Noble Fir. Wreaths, garlands and tree stands will also be for sale.

“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever’ by Valley Center Stage: Barbara Robinson’s “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” is a heartwarming, laugh-out-loud holiday classic. For tickets and showtimes, visit valleycenterstage.org.

Novelty Hill Farm, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Novelty Hill Farm near Duvall opened for the holiday season Nov. 28. The farm has u-pick Christmas trees every day except Thanksgiving until sold out, as well as a holiday market with local artisan vendors each weekend.

Dec. 21

The Grange holiday events, 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.: Enjoy brunch while Todd Powell returns to play your favorite holiday tunes on the piano. Then, from 3:30-4:30 p.m., Sydney Linn of Casa Bruno Wines will be pouring some amazing old world wines, as well as PNW wines. Ornament Treasure Hunt: Shop small and win prizes with the SnoValley Chamber of Business’s 2025 Ornament Treasure Hunt. More than 1,200 handmade ornaments, crafted by Mount Si High School students, are hidden throughout the Snoqualmie Valley’s small businesses. Dec. 26

Taylor Swift paint and watch party, 4-6 p.m.: New paint-your-own-pottery studio Color Carnation is hosting an evening of painting and watching the final episode of Taylor Swift’s new docuseries, “The End of an Era.” Reserve your spot at colorcarnation.square.site/events. A $5 fee reserves your spot and will go towards your pottery piece day-of.

Jan. 31

New Year’s Eve at Remlinger Farms, 4-9 p.m.: Remlinger Farms is hosting a family-friendly New Year’s Eve party, ending with a viewing of the Times Square Ball Drop in New York City. Along with live music from The Outmodes, the evening will include drinks from the bar, eats from the cafe and arcade games. Tickets are $10 or free for those ages 12 and under.
