Come to Valley Center Stage this weekend and next for the premier of “Neville vs. the Demon,” a devilishly clever play written by Sean Philips.
This original work recreates the perils of “Faust” with a healthy dose of modern wit and cynicism. Venture into the untidy life of Neville and his cats as they navigate the minefield of demonic legal practice and spiritual contracts with the demon Wormskull.
The cast includes David Hebert at Neville, Dylan Cook as the Demon Wormskull, Trina Hassan as Luccienne, Craig Ewing as Mr.Claws, Samantha Jones as Sugarpuff, Jeff Jones as Zach, and Rachel Mills as Dex/Marc. The play is directed by Michael Renney and produced by Indomitable Spirit Productions.
Shows are at 7:30 p.m. July 2, 3, 10 and 11, and 2 p.m. July 4, at Valley Center Stage in North Bend. Tickets are $15 per person, $10 for students and seniors.
Parental guidance is suggested for children under the age of 13. For more information and online ticket sales, send email to info.isproductions@gmail.com.

Craig Ewing, David Hebert, Jeff Jones and Dylan Cook, back, rehearse a scene in the play that takes a modern look at the Faust legend.
