Combining their love of musical theatre and jazz, veteran actors/vocalists Kim Maguire, Mark Shelby and Marcus Wolland tell the tale of how they met, taking the audience on a journey full of humor and jazz as they showcase their favorite tunes. Using original and  creative arrangements that appeal both to the jazz connoisseur as well as their musical theatre fans, The Blue Fedoras even throw in some not-so-usual tunes, for flavor.

North Bend resident, Brian Gmerek, and Kim Maguire from Kirkland, are the co-creators and co-producers of this very different, very lively ensemble. Brian’s jazz world collides  with Kim’s musical theatre world to create a wild evening of jazz theatre. Marcus Wolland writes and directs the Fedoras’ New York storyline.

The rhythm section of The Blue Fedoras: JJ Sandberg (piano), Jonathan Small (acoustic bass) and Brian Gmerek (drums), come from all walks of life and have come together to  create a unique style of exciting jazz, drawing from classical, musical theater, bebop and jazz fusion roots.
