Free tax preparation help from United Way offered at North Bend Library

The United Way Free Tax Preparation program helps low-income individuals and families secure all the refunds and credits they’re eligible for.

This service is for households who earned less than $64,000 in 2016, with tax returns that do not involve business taxes, rental income, or sale of property or stocks. The program is especially helpful for people who aren’t sure which deductions they qualify for, whose first language isn’t English, or who have trouble because of a disability or other challenge.

The service is free with no hidden costs or fees.

IRS-certified and multilingual volunteers are ready to help at several sites, including the North Bend Library, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesdays.

Visit the United Way website at https://www.uwkc.org or call (206) 461-5005 for more information.
