Mount Si High School student Kendall Koval has been named the winner of the Snoqualmie Valley Community Network’s “Be the Change” poster design contest. Koval’s design will be used as the promotional poster for the 11th annual “Be the Change” event for middle school age students in the Valley, set for March 17.

A poster committee of Valley teens chose the winning design, with comments such as “I like how this image suggests that one idea can sprout many,” and the design was “light, positive and represented growth.”
