Port of Seattle Commissioner Stephanie Bowman will speak at the Feb. 22 luncheon meeting of the Snoqualmie Valley Chamber of Commerce. Bowman will discuss how the port is working to spur economic development in the community, and will ask for ideas from members about how best to partner to build prosperity across the region.

The luncheon will be 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 22, at the Snoqualmie Ridge TPC, 36005 SE Ridge St.

Bowman will provide a brief overview of the port’s current initiatives, opportunities for collaboration, the dramatic growth at Sea-Tac Airport, promoting tourism, supporting small-business development, and building a robust talent pipeline for the region’s employers.
