Snoqualmie Valley grad Conway earns Second Lt. rank

Valley grad Andrew Conway, 22, received his Second Lt. bars from the U.S. Army on Saturday, Aug. 23. Parents Joseph and Sandra Conway of North Bend and girlfriend Mary Runkle attached his shoulder boards at a ceremony. Conway is part of the military intelligence branch and will attend training at Fort Huachuca, Ariz., then return to the 373th Military Intelligence Battalion in Tumwater, Wash.

He graduated Mount Si High School in 2004, and attended Airborne School at Fort Benning last summer.
