Horvitz to char Overlake board of trustees

Overlake Hospital Medical Center board of trustees has elected Peter

A. Horvitz chairman for a two-year term.

Horvitz is chairman, president and chief executive officer, Horvitz

Newspapers Inc.; Northwest Media (Washington), L.P.; Maryville _ Alcoa

Newspapers Inc. (Tennessee); and Publisher, Eastside Journal.

He succeeds Joan Wallace, owner, president, managing broker,

Wallace Properties Inc., commercial realtors.

Entering his fourth year on the Overlake Hospital board, Horvitz

also serves on the boards of United Way of King County; Bellevue Chamber

of Commerce; Bellevue Community College Foundation; Corporate

Council for the Arts; Pacific Northwest Ballet; Hawken School;

S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications Advisory Board,

Syracuse University; H.R.H. Family Foundation; and the Endowment Fund of

the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle.
