Snoqualmie resident Dr. Philip Cassady has been elected as a fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS). The AIAA, based in Washington, and the RaeS, based in London, are the world’s leading professional societies in the broad areas of aeronautics and astronautics. Cassady is an internationally recognized author of 65 technical papers.

Presently, Cassady is a senior technical fellow and chairman of the Boeing Technical Fellowship, in addition to being an executive in the Boeing Phantom Works organization.
