Jan. 23-24

Disney’s “The Little Mermaid Jr.” presented by Cascade Community Theatre: Duvall’s Cascade Community Theatre’s newest production is a class story, reimagined for young audiences in mind. It features two 30-minute acts with a short intermission. Families can enjoy themed crafts, photo opportunities, sweet treats and an immersive “under the sea” experience that brings the world of the show to life. Performances are at Wagner Performing Arts Center in Monroe. Friday shows are at 7 p.m. Saturday shows are at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets vary in price and can be purchased at cctplays.ludus.com.

Jan. 24

Dry January tasting experience, 5-7 p.m.: Salish Lodge is hosting a Dry January-friendly tasting experience with handcrafted zero-proof cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages. Expert bartenders will teach guests the art of mindful mixology with vibrant flavors and creative pairings. Jan. 25

Duvall community auction, 2-4:30 p.m.: The Grange restaurant and the organizers of March of the Vegetables are teaming up for a community auction. Stop by the restaurant for a glass of wine or seltzer and pursue a variety of items to bid on, from art and jewelry to zoo tickets to haircuts. All are welcome to bid or just be in community.

Jan. 27

Info sessions on caregiving: Mt. Si Senior Center is hosting free presentations to help community members navigate care options and learn about becoming paid caregivers. Sessions about how to find in-home care providers will be at 11 a.m. at Sno-Ridge Apartments in North Bend and 1 p.m. at the senior center. The session on becoming a caregiver is at the senior center at 4 p.m.

Jan. 28

Wiggin’ Out Game Night, 5-7 p.m.: Join the North Bend Downtown Foundation for a community game night at Iron Duck Public House, 101 W. North Bend Way. Bring a board, card or dice game to play, or join one already in progress. Bonus fun for those who show up in a wild wig.

Jan. 29

Help plan a new park, 6:30-8 p.m.: Si View Metro Parks is hosting an open house for community members to provide feedback on plans for a new six-acre park at 13121 415th Way SE, North Bend. The park, donated by the Snoqualmie Valley Riding Club, will have potential for recreation, education and multi-purpose use. Open house is at the Si View Community Center.

Jan. 30

Snoqualmie Falls Brewery comedy show, 7 p.m.: Comedians Greg Beachler and Quinn Fitzgerald, with Next Stop Comedy, will be at Snoqualmie Falls Brewery for a night of big laughs in a community setting. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at nextstopcomedy.com/events.

Jan. 31

Riverview Education Foundation gala, 6-10 p.m.: The Riverview Education Foundation is hosting REF Night Out at Novelty Hill-Januik Winery in Woodinville. In its 18th year, this night of fundraising for education will be more casual and high-energy, with silent and live auctions, music and dancing, interactive games and hearty bites.
