Folks who enjoy the Preston-Snoqualmie Trail may not remember that it is a “rails to trails” creation. The trail parking lot on Lake Alice Road now offers a kiosk sign showing the Falls City Depot, which was located in that area, and offering some background history on the railroad.

The sign was created by the Raging River Conservation Group and Fall City Historical Society, in cooperation with King County Parks Department.
