Mount Si’s varsity girls basketball team finished a tough week of games with straight losses, despite coming so close to a victory over North Creek over the weekend.

On Wednesday, Jan. 10, the team took a 52-34 loss to Newport in Bellevue. Friday, they hosted Woodinville in a 66-35 loss. They battled back Saturday against North Creek, but were one bucket behind as time ran out. They lost 65-63, bringing their overall season record to 5-8.

The girls’ next home games are Friday, Jan. 19, vs. Bothell and Saturday, Jan. 20, against Newport.

, as well as Wednesday, Jan. 24, where they will face off against Eastlake.
