Issaquah-based non-profit, Eastside Baby Corner (EBC), has announced that Springfree Trampoline in Issaquah will host its 8th annual Pants Party event this year, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 9, at 1875 NW Poplar Way.
The goal of Pants Party is to collect 5,000 pairs of pants for children (birth to age 12) to donate to children in the Eastside Baby Corner service area who need them. Springfree will also raffle off a free trampoline, installation included at the event.
“Springfree Trampoline is thrilled to host the 8th Annual Pants Party! We are happy to help our neighbors, EBC, to meet their goal in collecting 5,000 pairs of pants for local children in need this back to school season,” says Jody Sise of Springfree Trampoline.
Pants Party is a free event put on by EBC each year, featuring family-friendly activities, music, pony rides and face painting. Admission is free, but guests are asked to bring donations of new or gently-used children’s pants. The pants are then distributed to families, just in time for the new school year.
The goal for this year’s event is to collect 5,00 pairs of pants.
Individuals or organizations who want to help can host collection drives for pants before the event and turn them in Sept. 9. For more information, contact Christine White at christinew@babycorner.org.
