Published 7:30 am Friday, May 12, 2017
The Duvall Civic Club’s annual plant and garden art sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, May 13, in the parking lot behind the Duvall Visitor Center (Old Library Building) on Main Street. In addition to local plants, local artists and vendors will have items for sale and a craft fair will be held upstairs in the visitor center. The Friends of The Library will sell raffle tickets for a barrel of prizes, as a fundraiser for the Duvall Library.
Find perennials, annuals, shrubs, trees, garden starts, and blooming baskets, including Rieger Begonias. Plant donations from longtime residents and other locals make this sale one of a kind .
This event was born in 1949 when 10-cent seed packets were passed out at the February meeting of the Duvall Civic Club, with the instructions for members to grow vegetable starts that could be sold to raise money for the Duvall Library.
