With all of the required fanfare, North Bend welcomed the holiday season Saturday in a tree-lighting celebration featuring local dancers and musicians.

There were firepits to fend off the chilly, rainy weather, refreshments, comments from Mayor Ken Hearing, an official visit from Santa on the Eastside Fire and Rescue Reindeer Engine, and a traditional community sing-along.

Enjoy these sights and scenes of a hometown holiday celebration.
