The Snoqualmie Valley Historical Museum will host a program on Tollgate Farm, at its annual meeting, starting at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20 at the North Bend Library.
Dr. Lorraine McConaghy will lead an illustrated presentation, “Tollgate Farm: Finding the Extraordinary in the Ordinary” on how the interpretation of Tollgate Farm explores local identity and highlights regional, national and world historical themes.
Dr. McConaghy recently did the research for the new interpretation at Tollgate Farm. Using the place-based history of a site we all know, and drive by every day, she will celebrate the Snoqualmie Valley Historical Museum and its role in the community.
The program, sponsored in part by King County 4Culture, is free to the public. To learn more, visit www.snoqualmievalleymuseum.org.
