Valley Animal Partners raised more than $4,400 in its Nov. 5 Chili Showdown event, held in Snoqualmie.

Winners of the event, claiming first place of the 11 chili recipes entered, were Eric and Nancy Anderson with a meat and bean chili entry.

The showdown featured chili tasting and a homemade dessert auction in an annual fundraiser to help Snoqualmie Valley seniors, veterans, and families with limited income spay, neuter, and vaccinate their pets. Learn more about Valley Animal Partners at www.valleyanimalpartners.com.
