Students in grades 9 through 12 are welcome to apply for the “Kids Talks” program, sponsored by Snoqualmie Valley Moose.

“Kids Talks” are short presentations that participating students give to groups of youth, ages 4 to 9, on such topics as health and nutrition, Internet safety, fire safety and self-esteem. Program participants must give three talks, then compile them into a report and submit it to the program by Feb. 25.

Students who are chosen will receive an all-expense-paid trip to Kenosha, Wisc., and a chance at a college scholarship for their participation.

For more information, attend an informational meeting at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at the Moose Lodge, 108 N. Sidney St., North Bend, or call Rebecca Hoffarth at (509) 628-7404, or send email to rebeccamhoffarth@gmail.com.
