Mount Si baseball is first in league

Mount Si’s baseball team has climbed up to the number one spot in the KingCo 4A standings after defeating Woodinville 4-2 on Friday, April 8 and Skyline 9-0 on Monday, April 11.
Their victories came after two straight losses to Issaquah and Bothell on April 1 and 6 respectively. Before those losses Mount Si had been undefeated in the season.
Mount Si is now the frontrunner in the 4A standings with a 9-2 overall record. Woodinville is in the second spot with a 8-3 record, and Skyline is third with 7-3.
Mount Si’s next game will be at home against Eastlake on Wednesday, April 13.
Soccer: Mount Si’s boys soccer team continues strong this spring, too, now standing at third in the league, with an overall record of 7-2-1. The boys next home game is Friday, April 22, against Inglemoor.
Softball: Girls softball holds a 5-5 record, their next home game is Monday, April 25, against Newport.
Track: In track, the boys team is second in the league, while the girls are in third. They have a home meet Thursday, April 21 against Issaquah.
Tennis: The girls tennis team holds a 3-2 record so far this year; they host Sammamish today, 3:45 p.m., and
Golf: The girls golf team, in the middle of the league pack, plays at home Monday, April 18, against Juanita.
