King County Community Service Area program hosts spring town hall meetings; first meeting is April 11 at Chief Kanim Middle School

Residents of unincorporated King County can meet with county officials, learn about small grant opportunities for their communities, and be informed about current county work in their community during a series of town hall-style open houses, scheduled in April, May and June.
Sponsored by the King County Community Service Area program, the town hall open houses are an excellent opportunity for residents of unincorporated areas to learn more about King County’s work in their specific community and speak out about their own priorities.
The first town hall meeting will be 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, April 11, at Chief Kanim Middle School, 32627 S.E. Redmond-Fall City Rd., Fall City, with King County Councilmember Kathy Lambert, Chief of Operations Rhonda Berry and Sheriff John Urquhart.
Open houses will take place from 7-9 p.m., unless otherwise noted. Participants will have time to meet one-on-one with representatives of specific County departments and branches.

Monday, May 2 at Woodinville Library, 17105 Avondale Rd. N.E., Woodinville, with Councilmember Lambert, Deputy Executive Fred Jarrett, Sheriff Urquhart;
Wednesday, May 4 at Hobart Church, 27524 SE 200th St., Hobart, with Councilmember Reagan Dunn, Chief Berry and Sheriff Urquhart;
Monday, May 23 at Neuwaukum Grange Hall, 38402 180th Ave. SE, Auburn, with Councilmembers Dunn and Peter von Reichbauer (invited), Chief Berry and Sheriff Urquhart;
Tuesday, May 24 at Seola Garden-Providence Bldg, 11215 5th Ave. SW, Seattle with Councilmember Joe McDermott, Chief Berry and Sheriff Urquhart;;
Wednesday, May 25 at McMurray Middle School, 9329 SW Cemetery Rd., Vashon, with Councilmember McDermott, Deputy Jarrett and Sheriff Urquhart;
Tuesday, May 31 at Fire District 20 offices, 12424 76th Ave. S., Seattle, with Councilmember Larry Gossett, Chief Berry and Sheriff Urquhart;
