North Bend Council to hold public hearing on cottage housing moratorium

The North Bend City Council has scheduled a public hearing regarding an emergency moratorium on applications for development in cottage residential zones. The hearing will be part of the council’s regular meeting, starting at 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 5 at the Mount Si Senior Center, 411 Main Ave. S.

The city council adopted the Ordinance 1579 establishing the moratorium at its Feb. 16 meeting.

Citizens can comment on the issue in person at the meeting, or submit their comments in writing to the City Clerk at P.O. Box 896, North Bend, WA, 98045, or by e-mail to soppedal@northbendwa.gov. All written comments must be received by 5 p.m. April 4.
