Give Good Foundation honors community leaders in awards ceremony March 4

The fourth annual Give Good Awards were presented March 4 at the North Bend Theater, recognizing community leaders in several categories. Nearly 300 people filled the theater for the red-carpet event for music, entertainment and to hear 32 amazing stories of the nominees.

Awards were presented to: Gary Schwartz in the Arts category; the Linnerooth Team Realtors – Windermere, Business; Bruce Muir, Courage; Two Rivers Middle School, Environmental; Kirk Dunckel, Educational Excellence; Mike Ruhland, Youth Advocate; Liz Schomber, Parent Volunteer; Aiden Schomber, Inspirational Youth; Maiya Weinmaster, Teen Spirit; Josh Budig, Youth Leadership; Hazel Pownall, Unsung Hero; and Stacey Cepeda, Spirit of the Valley.

Chris Fagan served as master of ceremonies for the event, which featured entertainment by George Seccombe and Dan Videla, Jessie Oliver, Ignite Dance, Kate Phillips and Bryan Rust, Seventh Song and Jack Mandelkorn.

Courage – Afshan Ijaz;

Environmental – Mary Brown;
