Cedarcrest boys defeat Sultan Friday

In a home game on Friday, Dec. 18, the Cedarcrest High School boys basketball team claimed a win over Sultan, 73 to 62. The Red Wolves led the Turks in scoring for all but one quarter.
The top scorer for Cedarcrest was Jake Kirschenmann with 20 points and 16 rebounds; 12 of his points came from the three-point line. Robert Cha, with one three-pointer, had 17 points on the night. Nik Reierson had 16 (three field goals) as did Cameron Hammontree. Also scoring for the Red Wolves were Kyle Lupo with four points and Bryden Stauffer and Nathan McBride with two each.
Sultan’s top scorers were Morris and Walcott, with 28 and 24 points, respectively.
