It was a rainy night at Wildcat Stadium Friday, and a celebration, of seniors in football, dance and band. Plus, it was almost Halloween.
With the Wildcats’ 21-0 win over Liberty Friday night, the team secured a district playoff spot for this week. They play Thomas Jefferson at Federal Way Memorial Field Friday night.
Also a cause for celebration, senior Parker Dumas made the Seattle Times list of top football performances for the week. He made four receptions, running for 103 yards and scoring two touchdowns.
Several Mount Si teams have already claimed spots in post-season play. The girls soccer team advanced to districts play earlier in the week, but lost in a 2-0 game against Inglemoor to end their season. In volleyball, the girls started their post season on Saturday, Oct. 31. They lost their match with Bothell, 2-3, and ended their season, too.

Members of the Mount Si High School band also donned costumes for the last home game of the season.
