Boeing Classic brings out sports celebs all week

Pro golfers and Seattle sports celebrities started off the Boeing Classic at the Snoqualmie Ridge TPC Golf Course Monday morning with the “Rumble at the Ridge fundraiser.

Foursomes of golfers played the course to raise funds for several organizations, including Pete Carroll’s “A Better Seattle.”

The Boeing Classic continues through Sunday. The tournament for the $2 million purse officially starts Friday, with the traditional fly-over by a Boeing jet, at approximately 11:20 a.m.

Lyn Swann, former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver, makes the put on the 18th hole Monday.
