‘Girl Rising’ film, Saturday at North Bend, shows power of education

Girl Rising, showing at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at North Bend Theatre,  is a feature film about the strength of the human spirit and the power of education to transform societies.  The film presents the  stories of nine girls around the world, told by celebrated writers and voiced by renowned actors, that delivers a simple truth: Educate girls and you will change the world.
