Sam Johnson appointed general manager of Salish Lodge

Salish Lodge & Spa is pleased to announce the appointment of
Sam Johnson as new general manager. Johnson has spent his nearly
twenty-year career in the hospitality industry, and most recently worked for
the Kimpton Hotel and Restaurant Group. Positions included general manager
of the Alexis Hotel, prior to that general manager of the Hotel Vintage
Park. His career portfolio includes management positions at the Sheraton
Tacoma Hotel, University Inn, Four Seasons Olympic Hotel, and Holiday Inns.
He was founder, president and owner of Espresso Sams Inc. in Bellevue.
Early in his career, Johnson held a position at Salish Lodge & Spa
when the resort was just re-opening. He now returns many years later to serve
as general manager of the hotel, which is a member of Small Luxury
Hotels of the World.

Johnson is a member of the Seattle Aquarium Society and the Seattle Hotel
Association, and resides in Issaquah with his wife and three children.
