Residents of Sno-qualmie Valley whose lives have been touched by cancer – people battling the disease, survivors, or families who’ve lost someone close to them – can gather to share stories and hope next month at the Relay for Life.
A fundraiser for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Snoqualmie Valley will start at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 14, and end at 10 a.m. Sunday, July 15, at Centennial Fields, 39801 S.E. Park St., Snoqualmie.
Relay for Life is a community gathering at which teams raise money, camp out and take turns walking, all to help find a cure for cancer.
There’s a lot of storytelling at Relay for Life, said Valley Relay online organizer Caroline Loudenback.
