Auction to benefit girls’ basketball team

The Cedarcrest girls’ basketball team is seeking community support

in cash donations, new items or services for their fund-raising auction on

Oct. 23 at 6 p.m., at Cedarcrest High School.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit the girls’ basketball team.

The team needs to raise $10,000 in order to attend an exhibition tournament

in San Diego, Calif. The state and Riverview School District cannot

provide these funds, so community support is strongly needed.

Mount Si Golf Course records hole-in-one

Matt Campbell, Head Golf Professional at Mount Si Golf Course,

reports another hole-in-one at the course.

The milestone was scored by Woodinville golfer Tammi Hull,

39, on the 125-yard eighth hole. Hull used a 6-iron to make the hole-in-one,

her first ever.

Fall City Little League meets

The Board of Directors for the Fall City Little League held their

monthly meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 13, at Fall City Elementary. The meeting

started at 7 p.m.

Volunteers are needed. Please help shape the future of Fall City

Little League for the kids.
