A look at life in Snoqualmie through the eyes of a local.
Last week’s issue of the Snoqualmie Valley Record ran an article
titled “Cats win battle of the Cs.” In the article were several paragraphs of
personal bias that should never have made it to print. We make it a policy
to never allow personal bias to be reflected negatively in a sports story.
Coaches and players alike have contributed greatly to both of these programs,
and printing something that detracts from those efforts was both wrong
and irresponsible.
We apologize for any concerns associated with our having printed
the article and promise to edit out any such personal bias in the future.
We strongly support both programs and have fostered a good relationship
with both coaching staffs. We also commend any athlete willing to put the
time into such an endeavor and hope to highlight their efforts any chance
we get.
