Valley musicians earn honors from Royal Conservatory

Two Valley piano students studying piano at SnoValley Piano Studio in Snoqualmie, passed their fourth grade exams with the Royal Conservatory Music Development Program, an international program for piano students in North America. Both students passed with high honors.

Samuel Chen, son of Shawn and Carol Chen and Henry Guo, son of Connie Wan and Ynsong Gu each prepared five original piano compositions by composers from the baroque, classical and contemporary periods.

The Royal Conservatory Music Development program provides a recognized national standard of musical success through an effectively sequenced course of study from beginner to advanced.
