Valley locations open up to residents needing to keep cool during heat warning

The Snoqualmie Valley is part of the area affected by an excessive heat warning, issued by the National Weather Service. Through Sunday, temperatures are expected to climb into the 90s during the day and stay in the 60s overnight.

The Snoqualmie Valley is part of the area affected by an excessive heat warning, issued by the National Weather Service. Through Sunday, temperatures are expected to climb into the 90s during the day and stay in the 60s overnight.

Residents are invited to take respite from the heat at the following locations throughout the Valley:

  • North Bend Library, 115 E. 4th Street; until 6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday; (425)888-0554.
  • Snoqualmie Library, 7824 Center Blvd. S.E.; until 6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; (425) 888-1223.
  • Snoqualmie Valley Hospital, 9801 Frontier Ave. S.E.; the lobby is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with Wi-Fi and a public café; Emergency Room lobby is open around the clock; (425) 831-2300.
