Angie McMillan-Major and Stephanie Rehm were recently named National Merit Semifinalists, and will advance to the next round of awards in February. To be eligible for the honor, they maintained consistently high grades throughout high school and scored in the top 50,000 of the 1.5 million high school juniors taking the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) last October.

Rachel Apone and Erik Sorvik were named National Merit Commended Scholars, for scoring in the top 5 percent on the PSAT, and Moriah Sisk was named an Outstanding Participant for being one of the top three scorers of the 160,000-plus Black American students competing.
