Movie fundraiser supports First Swing Foundation trip

A group of Valley residents will travel to Vietnam in April, for the First Swing Foundation’s “Baseball Connect” program. A fundraiser to support the trip will be the screening of “A Beautiful Game,” 1 p.m. Sunday, March 1, at the North Bend Theatre.

A group of Valley residents will travel to Vietnam in April, for the First Swing Foundation’s “Baseball Connect” program. A fundraiser to support the trip will be the screening of “A Beautiful Game,” 1 p.m. Sunday, March 1, at the North Bend Theatre.

Admission is $20 each, $50 for a family of three, or $64 for a family of four or more.

First Swing Foundation will send 40 youth to Vietnam to teach children and coaches about baseball.

The group will also do service activities such as  building a school playground.
