Mayor Larson heads up Sound Cities Association

Snoqualmie Mayor Matt Larson was elected president of the Sound Cities Association board at the group’s Jan. 22 meeting.

Snoqualmie Mayor Matt Larson was elected president of the Sound Cities Association board at the group’s Jan. 22 meeting.

Also serving on the bard are Auburn Mayor Nancy Backus as vice-president, and Sammamish councilman Don Gerend as treasurer.

Mayor Larson is the only representative to the board from the Snoqualmie Valley caucus.

Sound Cities Association, formerly the Suburban Cities Association, brings together civic leaders from the Puget Sound area, with a mission to provide leadership through advocacy, education, mutual suport and networking opportunities.
