‘In the Garden’ workshop series ends with discussion of pests, June 11

The Snoqualmie Valley King County WSU Master Gardeners Clinic will present its final "In the Garden" workshop of the series on Saturday, June 11, at two locations.

The Snoqualmie Valley King County WSU Master Gardeners Clinic will present its final “In the Garden” workshop of the series on Saturday, June 11, at two locations.

Elaine Sherbrooke, lead diagnostician with the King County Master Gardener Program, will discuss plants, pests and diseases, at 10:30 a.m. at North Bend Library and again at Sammamish City Hall at 1:30 p.m.

Sherbrooke joined the Master Gardener Program in 1994, joined the diagnostics clinic in 2000, and became the clinic leader in 2013. The clinic is used every year to identify plant pests and diseases brought in by samples from the public to the neighborhood clinics.
