Cancer support
at North Bend
The North Bend Breast Cancer Support Group meets 2 to 3:30 p.m. on the third Sunday of each month at the North Bend Library meeting room. Upcoming events include a pre-holiday craft day on Nov. 16, and a holiday tea on Dec. 21.
Long-term or newly diagnosed breast cancer patients and survivors can meet, share feelings and understanding with other women, discuss resources for care and support, and enjoy craft activities. Light refreshments are provided.
The group is facilitated by Susan Olds, a North Bend resident and former program manager for Cancer Lifeline in Bellevue and Seattle. She is a 10-year survivor and proponent for healthy living, physically, emotionally and spiritually. For more information on the support group, call Susan at (425) 679-2458.
