City considers mayoral powers

The Snoqualmie City Council is considering giving Mayor Matt Larson new powers to sign minor and emergency contracts without their prior approval.

The ordinance, adding the ability to OK contracts under $10,000 to the mayor, was introduced Monday, Sept. 8, and will come back for a vote on Monday, Sept. 22.
