Downtown merchants plan Easter open house
Merchants in downtown Snoqualmie will welcome visitors with Easter-related events and celebrations at the Downtown’s Hoppin’ spring open house, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 11.
Participating businesses will have balloons by the door. Families are welcome to bring baskets for special treats.
Merchants have been building a tradition of welcoming families with special events during several holidays each year.
The Snoqualmie Valley Record will also be a part of the Easter fun with a coloring contest. Contest entries, feating a trio of cute chicks, were given out in last week’s edition of the Valley Record. Finished entries can be returned to participating businesses. They will be judged by Record staff, and the winning entries will be featured in a coming issue of the newspaper.
