Grand zucchini

The Snoqualmie Valley Master Gardeners sponsored its second annual Zucchini Grande Contest Aug. 20. Judging was done by Di Braun of The Nursery at Mount Si along with master gardeners Renee Corry and Anne Sander. The top winner was Shao Cha with a yellow zucchini that weighed 4 pounds and measured over 15 inches long. Cha was presented with a $25 gift certificate from The Nursery at Mount Si.
