The grand opening of Fisher Creek Park in Snoqualmie has been set for Friday, Oct. 2 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The park was designed with some input from local girls scouts who were asked what amenities they would want for the park improvements. The park now has eight slides, a merry-go-round, a rock climbing wall, and 100-foot zip lines.

The grand opening will have free giveaways, a DJ, and Snoqualmie Police and Fire Chiefs will be cooking up hotdogs. The event is open for everyone to attend.
