SNOQUALMIE —The Oct. 24 closed-record public comment
hearing for the proposed Falls Crossing development will be held in the
auditorium at Mount Si High School, 8651 Meadowbrook Way S.E. The
hearing is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., and end at 10 p.m.
The Snoqualmie City Council will open the discussion with a
statement outlining procedures governing the meeting, followed by a description
of the project by the applicant, Puget Western Inc. (PWI), along with
the corporation’s comments about written findings and conditions developed
by the Planning Commission. The council will then take comments from
the public.
A sign-up sheet will be provided for those who wish to speak. If all
individuals have not been heard by the close of the meeting, the
comment period will continue at 7 p.m., Oct. 25. City staff, and a representative
from PWI, will have a brief time to respond to the citizen comments after all
who have signed up finish speaking.
Comments will be limited to matters contained in the record, such
as the findings, conditions, evidence and exhibits gathered by the
Planning Commission. Comments should address specific exhibits, findings
and conditions by number.
The public record, including all exhibits, is available for viewing at
the city Administrative Office, 8020 Railroad Ave. S.E., during regular
business hours. Alternatively, the findings and conditions are available on the
Internet at www.ci.snoqualmie.wa.us.
Written comments will also be accepted. The same limitations
apply, and all written material must specifically address matters contained in
the record. Written comments should be postmarked on or before Oct. 25,
and addressed to: City of Snoqualmie, P.O. Box 987, Snoqualmie, WA
